Doing business with Shape Fabrication was a pleasant and memorable experience. The management went out of their way to understand how we intended to use the work boat we contracted with them to build. They offered suggestions they felt might improve on the original design and a number ofsuggestions were incorporated into the final product which will undoubtedly extend its useful life and make it more of a pleasure to use. All of these engineering changes were well communicated and there were no surprises at the completion of the job. We were continually updated on the fabrication of the work boat as well as being invited to view construction at their shop. We developed a very good working relationship and I anticipate doing business with them again as opportunities arise.

   Although we have always enjoyed our home on Biddeford Pool with its spectacular views, it has been a dream of ours to have better accessibility to the water for kayaking, swimming and sunning. John Schafer and Shape Fabrications made this dream a reality for us last summer! We now have a beautiful docking system, complete with walkway and platform just steps from our home. Working with John on this project was a joy.  He was highly recommended to us by a mutual friend and local business owner in Biddeford Pool. We were immediately struck by his good nature, enthusiasm and determination to get the job done right. Having little knowledge of the permitting process, we relied on John to complete our dock from start to finish. This involved drawing up plans, writing letters and attending several meetings on our behalf. John kept us in the loop every step of the way. Once the permitting process was approved, John executed the building and installation of our dock. The workmanship was impeccable. John was professional, courteous, reliable and a pleasure to work with. We recommend him highly. Our family looks forward to enjoying our dock for many years to come.
